Worked out from the ingredients.

Steps

  1. Step 1

Heat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or line it with foil.

    350°F

  2. Step 2

Without pulling the rolls apart, slice the whole slab in half horizontally with a long serrated knife, like splitting one big sandwich. Set the top half aside and lay the bottom half cut-side up in the dish.

    • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls (one 12-roll package)
  3. Step 3

Layer half the Swiss over the bottom slab, then pile on all the ham in loose ruffles rather than flat sheets, then the rest of the Swiss. Put the top slab back on.

    5 min

    • 1 lb thinly sliced deli ham
    • 8 oz Swiss cheese
  4. Step 4

Whisk together the melted butter, Dijon, poppy seeds, grated onion, brown sugar, Worcestershire and salt.

    3 min

    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
    • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
    • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
    • 1 tbsp finely grated onion
    • 2 tsp brown sugar
    • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/4 tsp salt
  5. Step 5

Spoon the butter evenly over the tops, letting it run down into the seams. Let it sit 10 minutes so it soaks in.

    10 min, hands-off

  6. Step 6

Cover tightly with foil and bake 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted.

    15 min, hands-off · 350°F

  7. Step 7

Uncover and bake 8 to 10 minutes more, until the tops are deep golden and glossy. Let rest 5 minutes, then cut along the seams into 12 sliders.

    10 min, hands-off · 350°F
